"Loose Leaf" explores the interplay between transformation and permanence. The oversized gum leaf is divided into two contrasting forms: the lower half, classically modeled and grounded, while the upper half disintegrates into floating squares, as if caught in the wind. This fragmentation symbolizes the impermanence of nature and the ongoing cycle of growth and decay, inviting reflection on the delicate balance between stability and change in the natural world.
